Massive Personal training

Personal training at Massive Workouts is for anyone who requires a bespoke program and detailed, one-on-one attention to their health and fitness needs – no matter what their current level of activity.

Head trainer James Wanna is an expert at designing programs for people from all walks of life. Your personal training sessions can be based around the sort of training you like to do (and maybe some of the things you don’t like!) and can combine aspects of our fat loss, speed and agility and muscle gain programs. We can also incorporate exercises and drills that are specific to training the muscles you need for the sports you play, such as football or tennis.

Research shows that people who get started on a fitness program have a much higher chance of success if they are working with a personal trainer. James guarantees that you will burn more calories, faster, in a PT session with Massive Workouts than you would training alone or with a friend at the gym. Some clients have clocked 1,000 calories per session with James, and you can too if you are prepared to go hard!

PT packages include fitness tests and a series of body measurements will be taken to check your progress. James will also offer guidance on nutrition and is available to answer any questions you have along the way.

You can expect to be pushed during each and every personal training session you do with Massive Workouts. We don’t just push you for the sake of it; we will also be monitoring your progress and the time it takes for you to recover, while showing you how to best gain results and harness the self-discipline it takes to continue your training outside the sessions. As you continue, the intensity of each session will increase – together with your fitness levels!

James can tailor programs for people who are currently sedentary, and those who are recovering from illness, an accident or an injury. He has experience working with people in a rehabilitation context and helping those who are managing chronic pain.
